Between 2015 and 2020, we ran We Go Too—a boutique travel company that took small groups of Black women to Ghana, Belize, Iceland, Mexico, and beyond.

We were featured in Essence and Black Enterprise, partnered with Howard University and Hampton University, and acknowledged by Airbnb.

The trips were incredible. The friendships that formed were even better.

But life happened. We paused. We grew. We traveled more. We learned more.

And now we're back—as Black On Arrival.

Same founders. Same values. Deeper intention.

Small groups. Premium experiences. Zero planning stress.

This time, we're building it for the long haul.

We've done this before. Now we’re doing it better.

No matter where we go, we are Black on Arrival.

Black On Arrival curates boutique travel experiences and the stories and resources that help Black women travel with more ease and less “figure it out on your own.”

We’re not just hosting trips — we’re capturing the moments, sharing the lessons, and building a community of women who love to explore and love having people to explore with.

Come for the travel; stay for the sisterhood.

WHO WE SERVE

Who This Is For

We serve high-earning Black millennial women who:

  • Want shared memories with women who actually show up

  • Value culture, good food, great wine, and real connection

  • Want to feel safe, seen, and considered while exploring the world

MEET THE FOUNDERS

Meet Alishia + Randi

We met in a English teaching program in the Dominican Republic.

Placed in the same room by fate. We became instant friends and soon uncovered our shared love of travel.

Randi was the friend who always wanted a passport stamp from somewhere new. Alishia was the one who could turn a weekend trip into an unforgettable experience.

In 2015, we started We Go Too—a travel company for Black women who wanted premium group experiences without the tour bus energy.

We took groups to Ghana before it was flooded with tourists. We bathed in the thermal pools of Iceland. We toasted in Paris. We ate our way through Mexico City.

And along the way, we learned what makes group travel actually work:

Small groups. Big enough to flow, small enough to connect.
Curated chemistry. Not everyone is invited. Just women who get it.
Ease over hustle. No 6am wake-up calls. No rigid schedules. Just intentional experiences with room to breathe.

We paused in 2020 (we all know what happened…) But people kept asking: "When are you doing trips again?"

So here we are. Black On Arrival.

Same founders. Same values. Deeper intention.

Together, we're building the travel company we always wished existed.
